Would stay again. Backyard was a plus having a pet. Place was quiet and cute.

The place was exactly what we were looking for. The beaches were in walking distance and there were great restaurants and coffee houses even closer. Everything was clean, the suite was well furnished, and access to the yard was accommodating for our large dog. I definitely intend to re-book for a future visit to Jacksonville.

We had a great stay! The location was perfect close to the beach and plenty of great restaurants. The house was clean, comfortable, and exactly as described. We had such a great stay here. The location is honestly hard to beat, just a few blocks from the beach and surrounded by so many restaurants and things to do. It made everything really easy and enjoyable without needing to drive much. The house itself was spotless and felt very thoughtfully set up. It was clean, uncluttered, and had everything we needed. They really went above and beyond with the extras, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, beach chairs, a cooler for the beach, and even tons of games to enjoy. The beds were incredibly comfortable and the linens were fresh and spotless, which always makes a big difference for me. One of my favorite parts was the backyard. It’s beautiful, very private, and a perfect place to relax after a day out. Overall, such a comfortable and easy stay. I would absolutely come back and highly recommend it to anyone looking to stay in the area.

Kent’s home was such a nice space for our weekend getaway! The house itself is older, but the inside is beautifully renovated and feels really well done. The only thing to note is that you’ll hear guests upstairs walking around—but if you’re used to apartment living, it’s honestly no big deal lol. The biggest perk was being able to walk to the beach—so convenient, and we really loved being close to everything! Everything was super clean, the backyard was spacious, and my dog had the best time out there. The cabana was also a really nice touch—perfect for relaxing and unwinding! Our stay was seamless and relaxing! My mom and I had a lovely space to return to after a day of visiting with family and sightseeing. Kent gave a great list of recommendations of things to do and see in the area. The rooms were clean and exactly as described. Kent even offers a variety of beach items such as coolers and bikes for you to use! Not to mention the onsite laundry. Kent responded to my questions quickly and kindly.

Had a great stay! Loved being able to bring our dog and hang out in the backyard while she roamed around in the fenced in yard. Neighbors upstairs were a little loud very late into the night but that’s to be expected in an older home (and there were clear warnings that noise could be a possibility). Hope to be back again soon!

We had an amazing stay at Kent’s place in Jacksonville. From the very beginning, Kent was extremely helpful and responsive whenever we had any questions about anything. He consistently checked in to make sure everything was going well and let us know that if we needed anything at all, we could just reach out. That level of care really made a difference. The house itself is great — very clean, comfortable, and located in a fantastic area close to the beach. It’s also near plenty of things to do, including walking spots, restaurants, and grocery stores, which made everything very convenient. We truly loved the experience, and if we return to Jacksonville, Kent’s place will definitely be our first choice. Highly recommend!

The entire stay was lovely! Not only did we and our doggo enjoy the backyard and patio dining, but the living room was very comfortable, as was the king sized bed. We were able to walk to the beach very day and had a blast. Kent was also extremely responsive and communicated clearly which we appreciated

This cute little beach cottage was perfect for us when we visited Jacksonville to see family last week! We were just a short walk to the beautiful Jacksonville Beach pier and were in close proximity to restaurants and shops, while being on a relatively private street. We were very pleased with the Airbnb and would happily stay there again!

Will not return Positive: Loved the location! Very close to beach and restaurants. The host was very responsive and helpful. Negative: The property is a very old house, with a unit upstairs and a unit downstairs. Because of the age of the house, as a guest in the lower unit, we heard absolutely everything. Guests walking up and down the stairs, walking around upstairs, and we could even hear them talking. The following day, when the guests had checked out, we heard the cleaning person for several hours while we were trying to relax.

Lots of positives: great location, nicely updated, comfortable beds, great A/C. Negatives: if there are guests staying in the unit above you, be prepared for lots of noise. You can hear every single sound. From voices talking, coming and going up and down the stairs, every step taken on the creaky floors above. It's just the nature of the integrity of the old building. We heard them come home after midnight, leave again, come back at 1:30 am, get up before 7 am and "stomp" around for 2 hours before departing. If you are a light sleeper you can forget about serenity and sleeping in. Even a pillow over the head and white noise machine couldn't drown out the noises above. If you are a heavy sleeper and plan to get up and out early anyway maybe it won't be a problem for you but I was exhausted after our stay there due to lack of sleep and quiet. The entryway smells like animal urine but the inside of the unit was fine. Kitchen is well-stocked, spices, oils, snacks, paper goods provided.

Really cool home, very walkable to the beach and restaurants. Loved the outdoor covered patio space! Our dogs loved the fenced in yard and patio too. The garage area provided us with more storage and had a big beach cart and beach chairs and boogie boards!

It was a nice place could use a little work done and remove used bars of soap but other than that it's a lovely place and I would definitely book it again if I go back to Jacksonville.... thank you

Kent’s place was perfect for beach getaway! The home had everything that we needed, clean & spacious. The location was close to coffee shops and restaurants plus it was only a short walk to the beach. We will definitely be staying here again on our next Jax beach visit!

Be weary of staying here if you’re health conscious. There’s lots of mold in bathroom. All cookware has plenty of pfa and tons of scratches that release harmful forever chemicals into your food. I had to buy new pans to cook while there. The back patio listed in pics, had been paved with concrete while in pics it was grass, which was a big reason I rented the location because I wanted to be able to go out and ground on the earth when I wake up and enjoy my coffee. There’s no ventilation in bathroom which explains the mold. The location is nice. Neighbors were quiet. Beach is 2 blocks away.

Kent communicated very well, I didn’t have a single question or concern during my stay. The place isn’t on the beach but so close! My 69 year old mother and I walked to the beach everyday during our stay! We didn’t bring our dog but the place is perfectly suited for your animal companion with a full fenced in back yard. The couches could have been more comfy but the beds and pillows were great! Thanks for the stay!

Amazing location and the host is AMAZING!! The only thing is the house is old so the floors look a little beat up, doors are kinda hard to open and close, ceiling is flaking. But I think it’s just because it’s an old house. I’m a clean freak so I was over analyzing to the max. It’s definitely a beach cottage. Host was great at communicating, location is unreal. Can walk to coffee and the beach. Parking is easy, no complaints! You do have to wash the dishes and sheets so that made me nervous on if the cleaning service cleans the dishes for you or if they count on the last person to do it well. Either way, Kent was an amazing host!!!

Great location right by everything including beach right across the road. Place was clean just felt a little run down floor felt a bit dirty. But that’s Florida humidity for you. I was worried about having upstairs rented out by others but we didn’t even hear them at all . Host was great with communicating and overall a great stay !

Our stay at Kent’s place was fantastic! It is such a walkable area with lots to do but also feels like you’re off the beaten path. Lots of restaurants, boutique fitness options, a FANTASTIC coffee shop (Round Bird), and the beach just steps away. The bed was comfortable and the outdoor space was peaceful. These were our two priorities and they did not disappoint. We can’t wait to return!

Great Homey place to stay with your dog! Mine loved the backyard and the lovely patio and bistro lights to sit. And super comfy beds! Surrounded by some of my favorite spots, Sago Coffee, Salt Life, Buddha Thai and Native Sun! and of course the beach!

Kent’s place was perfect for a long weekend in Jax beach! It is just a 5 minute walk to the beach, and also within walking distance to so many great restaurants and bars. The apartment was extremely clean when we arrived, with plenty of linens and towels. The beds were very comfortable, and the blackout blinds were such a nice touch. The kitchen had everything we needed. Kent gave us all the info we needed for a super smooth check in and out. I will definitely be back!

Kent's speed, responsiveness and proactivity in communication was absolutely great. Perhaps the best I've had with an Airbnb host. The stay was wonderful. Superb location. 5-minute walk to the beach, great places to eat were just steps or a short drive away, the area/beach is fun but not a party atmosphere. The apartment has been modernized throughout but still maintains its original, quaint charm. Excellent value and as described. We could faintly hear tenants walking upstairs however didn't hear any talking so the experience definitely was not ruined. Enjoyed eating breakfast with the kids in the backyard under the veranda. Cozy, clean and fun with a great relaxing backyard. This unit has all the things you need in a kitchen. The beach is in walkable distance. There were plenty of towels and beach towels. Kent provided the most excellent and professional communication. He went beyond what is required to make sure our stay is exceptional. To sums it all up We had a great host. Our stay in this unit was great! There was a small issue with the a/c when we arrived but Kent took care of it right away. The beds were very soft and comfortable and the place was spotless and had any amenity we would need during our stay. The garage had chairs and stuff for the beach. It’s an easy 13 minute walk to the beach. Definitely coming back and booking again when we’re here again. Thank you Kent for your hospitality.

I had a wonderful stay at this cute beach apartment just 4 blocks from the beach. The outside area was lovely and added to the charm of the place. Parking was easy to find, and the clear instructions from the host made the whole process seamless. Highly recommend!

I felt the stay was wonderful based on the fact that we had great co-guests upstairs for most of the stay. It is important to clarify once the guests upstairs left & new rude ones came we were very happy to be leaving so it does matter. The back yard downstairs made the stay so relaxing with the swing chairs being the highlight of our evenings- I do with the second chair was in a literal tree but it was still enjoyable. The beds were very comfortable and the blinds worked well. I would say although the front door knob is beautiful it is not necessarily functional for this air Bnb. My other wish was that, like the upstairs, the back door had a blind so no one could see in. Traveling alone w/ my best friend was made very enjoyable at this home and the host was VERY responsive which really helped! The beach chairs are a nice touch, but they’re broken/rusted and pretty miserable to carry even only a few blocks. I think this would be an amazing stay w/ just a little updating to those thing

We had a great time at Kents place! The place is located near many of the local bars and the beach which is always a plus! The walls are a little thin, but it didn’t bother us much! The place was very spacious, and they even have some board games and cards for guest to enjoy. We really like the hammocks outside too!

This Airbnb was perfect! Looks exactly like the photos & very close to the beach! The rooms each have great mattresses - it’s the memory foam kind & you feel no movement from anyone if you’re sharing a bed. It is an older house so the floors creek and stuff but it wasn’t an issue. Halfway through our stay someone arrived to stay in the unit above us so there was some footsteps we could hear off and on but it was not an issue at all. I take my white noise machine with me everywhere so I hear nothing at night time but if I didn’t have it I would wish there was one to drown out the street noise. There’s a lot to do in walking distance! Check out wick & brew- It was really fun on a rainy day. This unit is pet friendly so we got to bring our sweet fur baby with us- she enjoyed the fenced in backyard. The covered area was very nice to hang out under. We overall loved our stay and will for sure use this location again! Thanks Kent!

We had a great stay at Seas the Day rental. The space was set up well, bright and cheery. A big fenced yard for the pup and a nice covered sitting area to relax. We could easily walk to the beach with a crosswalk for A1A a block away. Lots of restaurants close by.

We could not use the backyard because of rain and wind, but the chairs, cushions and hammock swings looked inviting. Kent was so quick to respond to my questions! I hope to come back and visit.

Kent is a very attentive host and this is represented in how thoughtfully appointed the unit is. Coffee, tea, filters, toiletries, towels, linens and beach gear. Everything is there, clean and comfortable. We also enjoyed the relaxing backyard. The location is awesome! A short walk to JAX beach and by car you can get to everywhere. We hope to stay in some of his other rentals in the future.

We enjoyed our stay in Kent's lower unit. The airbnb was extremely quiet despite being near a main road. The beach is only a few blocks away and there are many food places within 5 minutes. The beds are very comfy and I loved the outdoor patio area for morning coffee. I'd stay again if I'm ever in the area!

Our stay was a last minute choice, and it was the best choice! This was my first one and it was very enjoyable!!

I found the AirBnb to be a bit older than the pictures reveal- creaky floors, cracked ceilings, old door handles, garage was an eyesore, beach chairs were rusty, you can hear people in the above unit etc.. None of those things kept us from having a great time, but did initially catch us off-guard. We did find the beds comfortable, the pavilion in the back peaceful, and the water hose in back convenient when returning from the beach.

We were so pleased with our stay at Kent’s place. He sent all relevant instructions ahead of time and was quick to respond to questions. The kitchen had everything we needed (pans, oil, salt, pepper, dishes, etc.) to make plenty of meals. We appreciated the list of local recommendations too! The back yard was very peaceful with the cute patio lights. Location-wise, we liked having the option of either walking or driving to the beach (plenty of parking to be found). It was nice to walk across the street to get an ice cream, too. If we ever come back to this area, we’ll look to stay here again!

For future stayers-Kent has several beach chairs, beach sand toys, and even a few kid life jackets up for use during your stay. Adds a nice touch. The bed in the front room is low enough that I didn’t have to worry too much about the kids rolling off the bed and getting hurt. The stay was nice for an older house.

When ever we come to Jacksonville to see our family we always stay here. It’s very affordable and is a very clean place.
